Peter and Kyle have been best friends for years. One day, they go to the store to buy some snacks. Peter is shocked when he sees Kyle put some candy in his pocket when the store's owner isn't looking. Peter wants Kyle to put the candy back, but he's afraid Kyle won't talk to him anymore if he accuses his friend of stealing. What should Peter do?~ Scholastic News 01/09/12 edition

Peter should tell Kyle to put the candy back because that that is the right thing to do.
I think Peter should go up to his friend Kyle and tell him he shouldn't do it and he saw what he did. If he doesn't listen don't be his friend. If you are afraid that Kyle won't talk to him anymore. Think carefully, would you want to have a friend that steals stuff? I don't think you will. Just tell him to put te candy back. If he doesn't want t be your friend anymore then find another one.
i think kyle should tell his friend that stealling is not good and you could get put in jail if you do it.
Peter should tell Kyle to put it back or you might get in big trouble by your parents and the police.
I Think Peter Should Be Like, "Hey Man I Got Like 2 Bucks In My Pockets So Get That Out Yo Pocket And I'll Pay For Them. Then We Can Share Em' Kay?"
Then Its Not Accusing. He's Just Asking. And Then If Kyle Still Tries To Steal, IF He Gets Caught Then At Least Peter Will Have Tried.
I think Peter should tell the store owner that his friend Kyle is stealing candy even through Kyle is his best friend.
Once they're outside tell him to put it back. If he gets mad because Peter accuses him of stealing, at least he's not friends with a robber.
I think Peter should just tell Kyle thats its not okay to steal the candy. So what if Kyle stops talking to him? He can just find new friends if Kyle doesn't wanna be his friend anymore. :)

Peter should tell kyle not to take the candy. If they have really been freinds for a while, then he wont get that mad.

I think Peter should tell Kyle to put it back and if Kyle doesn't then Peter should tell him what could happen and that Kyle could get in huge trouble if they found out that Kyle stole.
He should tell him who cares if he dosent like him oh well he will have to find a new best friend.tell him to put it back!
